Using HTML Format Print

  • 1

When you use the HTML editing format for creating your email, you have access to many advanced formatting tools. For example, you can use a variety of fonts and colors and create bulleted and numbered lists. Note: Composing in HTML is not available in Safari.

To use HTML formatting when you are composing an email, do the following:

  1. If you are currently in Plain Text view, you will need to click the HTML View link to turn on HTML formatting. The HTML Viewlink is located on the top menu bar of the New Message window.
  2. Do one of the following:

      • Select the text to which you want to apply formatting. For example, select the text that you want to make bold or underlined or that you want to make a certain color. Then click the button for the formatting you want to apply.

      • Click the button for the item you want to insert, such as a smiley icon, a table, an image, etc.

Use the smiley face icon to select a smiley to insert in the message body.

Note: If you click the Plain Text View link, you will lose any HTML formatting you have applied to the email message.
