Open or Save Attachment Print

When someone sends you an email that contains an attachment, the file name will appear in the attachment area, located above the body of the email message. Also, when you’re viewing a message list, you’ll see a Paperclip icon next to each email that contains an attachment.

To open an attachment:

  1. Click once on the attachment name. 
      Use the disk icon at the far right of the Attach area to save an attachment.
  2. Open the attachment according to your web browser’s directions.
  3. If your computer has the necessary software installed for opening the attachment, the attachment will open automatically. Otherwise, you may be prompted to select an appropriate application for opening the attachment.

To save an attachment:

  1. Click once on the attachment name. Or, if there are multiple attachments, click the Download All link to save all attachments as a .zip file.
     
     Use the disk icon in the Attach area to save an attachments.
  2. Save the attachment according to your web browser’s directions.
  3. Select the location where you want to save the attachment.
  4. Click the Save or OK button (varies depending on your web browser).
